Encaustic Explination

The gift of this medium for me is presence. When I am fully present in the creation process these materials speak to me in a way that invites me in, to go past my comfort zone of knowing, to stay curious and to listen to the elements and hear when a piece tells me it is complete. It's a natural ebb and flow when I listen deeply and collaborate with the elements. The more I give myself over to Spirit, the more it flows through me into my creations. It feels as though all the art mediums I have ever used have led me to this most fantastic medium that I was born to use.

Each day I paint, I ask these natural elements to bring the love, peace, and tranquility, I feel in creating, into the homes and lives of those who experience and live with my work. It is a blessing and honor to be a part of bringing the magic around us to life for all to see. There is a divine hand directing the final piece that I trust entirely. I am merely a conduit in bringing these creations to life.
